Is my tank cycled?

I'm really sorry to hear that eva!

You didn't murder them, they just passed on... don't be so hard on yourself!

All you can do now is look after the rest of your babies, to the best of your ability!

Condolences,
Moony

What i did to help my tank cycle faster i bought this product called "cycle" i wonder why... haha and they should sell it at local petstores if not something like it and its contains benificial bactieria which is what cause the water to be "cycled" with out that you can even put fish food in there (not a lot) but enough so the bacteria can feed and reporduce in a way...i also have guppys and mollys in my tnak with my axies and they are suppposed to be food too.. but it helps to add fish to the tank first (cheap fish) so cycle and test the waters before you put your babies in.

Hello Shaye,

Can you please tell me a little more about the product? Ingredients? Is it chemically based or natural?

I have never heard or seen this product before... though i gratefully respect your opinion, i think if this product was actually beneficial, everyone on here would be ranting and raving about it!

What do other think? Good option, Yes/No?

Sorry to those who may not be familiar with Australian sayings... Translation- Everyone on the forum would be discussing and recommending the product, because of how good it is.

Well i think it is Australian... It could be English:eek: But i think it sounds good with a mega Australian accent.. ;)

P.S sorry to be a post hog, but it wouldn't let me edit it!

Hi Mooney. I noticed in one of your posts that you mentioned paying $70 for a test kit. If it is the full test kit you can pick them up cheaper than that at $59. I don't know where your located in Melbourne, so not sure if Kilsyth is too far for you to travel. The aquarium there sells full test kits for $59. It pays to shop around a little bit, as some aquariums are cheaper than others. Cheers Carol.
