Umm....how do you distinguish between a female and a male salamander?

oh, and one more thing. Is an axies a salamander? Or, something else? I also wonder if the diet that I have for my salamanders is o-k. I feed them raw shrimp, raw deer meet(cut up into little pieces), raw hamburger, raw fish, worms, bugs, and thats about it. They never have gotten sick, at least I don't think. Any body wanna comment?

I was hoping I could make it out, but airline costs and a lack of vacation time have convinced me otherwise. I'll definitely have to plan on going next year though. I just wish IAD was closer to California...
