Yeah that's pretty much just the tank and maybe filter possibly a light? Rubbish isn't it!! Just moved the little fella to his bigger tank and seems happy enough exploring and eating

I just spent a total of about $75 (not including the axolotl) setting up a 20 gallon long... I got the tank at petco during dollar per gallon sale, so $20 on the tank, then I spent $40 at the hardware store on acrylic, spray paint, styrofoam, pothos and bamboo for the filter. Then another $15 on K1 and some air stones. I had my pump already. I thought I managed to set the tank up for a great price, my wife thinks I spent too much on it. I suppose if I were looking at it from the outside I'd think it was a waste too, but the tank came out so cool! The axolotl will be here next week. I'll be adding some plants and such for some cover and natural hiding area, more money... Also it doesn't have a light yet, so that'll be another $20 or so.
Money goes too fast, man.
