Hi/czesc Tomasz,
I think I can`t help you with informations, I think Henk Wallays (Hynobiidae specialist) has a photo on his website. Almost nobody in western europe seems to keep them. I am also very interested in Salamandrella, I hope to get a few next year at the Gersfeld meeting.

Here's a salamander with the largest range of any other salamander in the world, but almost nobody keeping it

Then again, there are probably not to many salamander hobbyists out there in the wilds of Siberia and adjacent territories inhabited by this species (northern China even)...

I know a Japanese person who keeps a Salamandrella keyserlingii, as this species is found in an area of Hokkaido, the northermost of Japan's four main lands. Most but not all of this species' habitat is protected area, so one almost never sees one being traded.

If you need a photo of one for a non-profit site, you might write a mail to the Mr. Ebinuma, a herp dealer in Japan, at endless@interone.jp to see whether he will allow you to use the following photo on condition that you credit it to Endless Zone:

Well I have seen a private presentation on this species ... Though I can not go into details here be sure to follow the status of this species, something is preparing.
