I used this site to find answers when I was looking into getting my Axolotls. I'm so glad there is a place to get answers about these amazing creatures. I started out looking for a pink leucistic, and ended up with 3 babies, all different types haha. I'm sure I'll be asking a lot of questions, since I'm new to, not only Axolotls, but amphibians in general.
My Lotls are just over 3 months old, and have doubled in size since I got them 3 weeks ago. I have a wild type (4.5"), a gfp golden albino (4"), and a pink leucistic (4.5"). They will live in a 40g breeder, which I've already set up. Right now they live in individual 3g plastic tubs. I've delayed placing them together in the tank because I'm concerned about aggression at this young age. So I spend 2+ hours every day feeding them blood worms with tweezers, and then changing out their water

Welcome fellow Utahn! I don't keep axies but this site has plenty of people who do. I am sure what ever questions arise we will be able to help you with them. And be sure to share what you have learned with others as well :)

Your axolotls are adorable.

I've only been keeping axolotls for around 3 months, but spent several months lurking on this forum before that. The advice and information available from the experienced keepers here is brilliant. :D

Welcome Alecann! Hah thats how I ended up with my first three Axolotls, and now I have 15 of them. That's so tedious, but at least you dont got 100+ babies you gotta worry about. :p
