Question: Help with Newt Eggs?

I doubt there will be enough food in a setup like that. I would keep them in a larger, established tank. When they first begin eating, the tiny creatures must actually pass right in front of the larvae before they will eat. You'll see them do tiny hops as they grab the food.

One thing that has worked well in the past ( though it might be too late) is to increase the amount of food available to your tank's microorganisms to get their population to explode. You can do this in an established tank by adding something that will grow fungus, like a new piece of driftwood. This should cause a bacterial bloom, which is ugly but not harmful, and will seriously boost the population of creatures that feed on the bacteria. It takes a month or so, though. You could probably also start adding fish food or something to get the same effect, but it would be easier to mess things up, I think.

I would either just keep them in a bigger tank or start hatching brine shrimp.

Can I put them with the adult newts? Won't they get eaten?

Could I get snail eggs like a previous person said or do the larvae have to be bigger than they are now? They all still have yolk
