Help identifying this salamander species.

They seem to have darkened up a bit like the ones in the pic from the seller. They are burrowed most of the time though so I don't see them often lol.

I do not at the moment. I might take a few pics after I go gather some more plants today and rearrange their tank though. :p

Also if you don't mind me picking your brain, what do you feed them? And does the seller still have some in stock?

Right now I have only seen them eat white worms. I have springtails in the tank as well as cut up earthworms. The seller no longer has anymore available.
If you or anyone have any other ideas for foods feel free to let me know.

For other foods, I would have add a dish, like a deli container and put crickets in so they can eat the foods easier. Also make sure that they are an appropriate size to eat, if the salamanders are small, give them small crickets. If they are large, give them large crickets. They are pretty BTW!

I might try small crickets. I'm not sure if they can fit a cricket in their mouths though. They are still pretty little.

2 1/2 - 3 inches at the moment.

I think that's big enough, put them in a deli cup or something so that the crickets can't get away. But definitely small crickets though, pinheads to average petsmart/co small crickets would do. Also make sure your dusting/gut loading their food!

They don't have names actually I haven't really thought about what to name them yet. I haven't named any of my 3 cynops orientalis yet either haha. I can actually differentiate them (cynops) now though by their end weights after feeding time. :p So I just usually call the biggest one fatass, the med belly sized one try hard and the small one red bellied bastard child. I can't tell my moles apart yet though so no names yet. :p

Edit: Okay I lied. I can tell them apart lol. I forgot one of them has a tiny bend on the tip of its tail. So. . . I'm just lazy with names haha.

Just wanted to update the thread with a new pic for these guys. One of them seems fatter then the other. Bent tail seems to be the skinnier of them. Also I tried pinhead crickets and neither of them took a liking to them. I currently have dwarf white isopods, springtails, and white worms living in the tank with them.

Are you sure the smaller one is eating? If it's not, I would move it into a different set-up so he can eat without being disturbed by the other one
