Sorry for the delay in posting week 6
They are all thriving very well! Im noticing alot of them have 4 white dots on their heads..not sure what this is or if it goes away?! also not sure on their skins, ive read that they may change once they have all sets of legs... not sure on this~ is true. I believe I mostly have leucistic and 1-2 wilds. Thanks for looking and any input!

Happy turkey day! :bowl:

Hey there! I'm loving your pics! I like your idea of keeping them in the craft storage segmented box, but how do you do water changes?

Do you take them out or just suck up the
water with a pipette or turkey baster?

i use a turkey baster to do water changes suck up most of the water around them, then put more back in with it. they dont seem to mind too much, i change it after every feeding. :D
they hold more water than what you would think they would lol! they are doing well in them and being that i hand feed them all bloodworms it makes it alot easier to make sure they get full tummies

btw if u have a walmart the containers are $3 each and its a 18 compartment container :hat:

Tc! :blob: (just wanted to use that!)

:D I will definitely do it this way next lot of babies we raise!

Thanks for sharing! xox

I just went to Walmart looking for the container you are using . I could not find them. What part of the store did you find them in?
Thanks

Either crafts or tackle would have something along those lines.

It would probably have been best to ask an employee in the store whilst you were there the first time.

I'd probably check the sporting goods section first (like in the fishing section, look for tackle containers) and then hardware (maybe by the tool boxes and stuff). And if you can't find them there, maybe take a jaunt through the housewares section where they keep all the plastic containers and so on. :) (I used to work at Walmart sadly so that's how I know this stuff, heh) If all else fails, you can always ask!

They were in the craft/making jewlery section. usually found on the bottom shelf. They are bead containers. :talker: You could use the tackle ones but the dividers are usually not locked in place like these are. gl finding them

I love the container idea! I think I may pick one up to use until mine get bigger(then I have 1.1L bins I can switch them to)
