Yes, for Um few daysDarkx to your knowledge was the tank cycled before putting your axolotl in?
Cycling can take weeks. I would recommend obtaining a test kit ASAP and consider tubbing the axolotl for now until you can be sure the tank is cycled. It's important to build up a culture of beneficial bacteria that can convert the harmful ammonia into nitrites and then into nitrates up to the amount that an axolotl will produce as ammonia exposure can have harmful effects on your animal.Yes, for Um few days
OkDarkx, your tank isn't cycled which means even though your axolotl looks healthy now it can become quite ill as the chemicals in the tank water become toxic.
you will need to put your axolotl in a tub of water whilst the tank is cycling.
you will also need help from your parents as you will need to use chemicals to cycle the tank and to test the tank water.
you will also have to make sure you have a good dechlorinator to remove any chlorine in the tap water before using it for your axolotl.
And PLEASE get help from your parents! Can't stress that enough. Like it or not, as you are a kid, it is technically their pet. If your parents refuse involvement, then they are not giving adequate care to the pet.

Thanks, But One of them is not moving idk whySadly, a lot of people get bad information from pet stores and assume the pet store employee knows what they're talking about. I'm sure your dad can also help you with tubbing and proper cycling of the tank in the meanwhile. Your little guy is pretty cute!
