Mary - once you upload your pic from your camera to your pc.. is should save as a Microsoft Office pic (.JPG file)
Open the file.
Click "Edit Pictures" button, on your tool bar.
A menu to the left should pop up.
Click "resize", that will open a different menu.
Click the "percentage of original widthxheight" option and resize away
Once you have the size that you want, or the size that is allowed, click OK and save the pic again.
here's a pic of my new golden, seems to have settled in nicely ate the first night
she's not quite as bright as my other golden albino and has little brown freckles on her head and is probably close to fully grown @ 9-10 inch and looks in great health except for a little nick in her tail
