Empty Tank, Ideas?

They just look like diatoms to me. They are common in newer set ups.

Removed the piece of cork bark to use for a different tank and got a turtle dock instead, and added some of that gel-packaged snail free dwarf hair grass, after I rinsed off the gel of course. Ill probably have some pictures of the tank and its inhabitants when I get them, so around Wednesday.

I really like thickly planted setups. It looks great! Can't wait to see photos of the new inhabitants in there.

So thanks to the US Postal Service being complete idiots, I don't have the animals yet but will hopefully have them tomorrow.

I actually prefer turtle docks to cork, they take up much less space above the waterline so you can get more water in the tank and still have room for the newts to emerge and rest.

I'll probably post some more in the Photo Gallery section once they settle down a bit, and a lot of them still have bubbles on them from being on land for a few days, so hyped to be raising these guys though.
