Im making a new pond in my garden in uk it wont be massive but I want to attract all uk amphibeans if possible theirs alot of great crested newt protected ponds around here to, so i hope they will come with the others and I was wondering if they would eat the smaller species of newts(fully grown)?

but they will still live together. it shouldn't be hard to get 5 of the six natives visiting

make sure there are lots of water weeds in the pond! also, would an adult triturus eat an adult lissotriton??? they would eat each others larvae

Yes, adult Triturus cristatus would eat for instance an adult Lissotriton vulgarius, but it will not happen everyday...best advice for ponds is to make deep und shallow places with lots of weeds. The Lissotritons will prefer the shallow parts and cristatus needs deep parts (50 cm or more).
