Disney To Release 'Newt' Animated Movie

For someone who seems to be disliked by so many he seems to be watched by an awful lot of people.
By the sounds of it all anti-seinfeld,
Im sure if i disliked someone as much i wouldnt be bothering to watch him.
Maybe you should do an anti-seinfeld thread,
at least you wouldnt be hi-jacking this one.
lol

What I find odd about the nemo craze is that from what I saw the aquarium hobby is sure not pictured positively! I mean...c'mon, the fish are trying to escape from the tank! It would seem that people would avoid buying SW fish but nooo...

I think its all been blown out of proportion. I don't recall seeing peoples home overun with ant farms after watching Antz. Anyway sites like this that are there for information and advice must also contribute to some peoples wanting for an animal. I didnt know axolotls existed until last year and reading about them on this site gave me the information i needed to feel confident enough to keep them.

When I saw Jurassic Park I really wanted to BE a Velociraptor, for 3 weeks I was a Velociraptor,
I didn't need a pet one,, hours of fun, jumping onto tables and hissing at people, those were the days...

I know this is straying from the thread again, but that american dude they call seinfield does seem to be an arrogant **edited**

problem is that newts don't jump onto tables and hiss at people, so owning one would be a lot more fun than acting like one... and then when parents relent and buy their kids newts and they find out how boring they are, they'll just release them into the wild. This in turn will lead to all sorts of problems such as disease spread etc...

oh yeah, what is this Seinfeld of which you speak?? or perhaps i shouldn't ask!

It is an American comedy show that is literally about nothing. It is supposed to be funny, but apparently, it doesn't impress caudata fans.

Oh yeah, Sam, when I saw Jurassic Park, I wanted to be a dinosaur too.:D

I just came across this thread. I agree that many a C. orientalis will most likely be found dried up under sofas after this movie is released. On another note I always thought that Seinfeld was pretty funny....

newts=good, glad it is an imaginary type of newt :)

people asking where the "Nemo fish" are located = frustrating

Seinfeld=bad, not funny, annoying Glad I never came across a dubbed Sienfeld when i was living in other country, now I Famiglia Griffin(Family Guy), now that is fun, but not as fun as Pimp my Wheels (MTV Italia, fastening sewing and beading kits and giving new paint jobs to Vespa, great local adaption on the annoying American MTV shows pimp my rides where they take Escalades and put a PS3 in every seat and fill a trunk hot tub with Cristal) Besides those most American shows i have seen playing in other countries are the worst American shows ever, Jerry Springger and Baywatch, talk about bad representation....

its in the off topic section so...

pimp my ride can be quite entertaining sometimes: "look what we did, we put a plasma screen in the most obscure place we could think of, like just above the wheel rim, so migits on the sidewalk can watch MTV when you stop at a light".

once they found a nest with live rat in someones car, plus Exhibit always seems to be amused by stuff, more so than your average sobre person..

Hello!!! I'm new to this website and idk how to ask a proper question on the designated spot yet, so I'll ask here, I'm a first time Axolotl owner, and my dad used to run an aquarium store, anyways... Orca, my Axolotl, seems to loose parts of her toes on one limb from time to time, I can't seem to find the problem. Tempature is well, she doesn't seem to have any infections or anything, though. And I'm not sure if I'll be able to find a vet in Brazil for amphibians that are in a reasonable distance to drive without stressing Orca out too much

Hello, I’m hoping for some advice please. Our Axolotl is about 7 months old. Till now no problem. Eating, growing and happy. He’s simply stopped eating. Everything looks fine, his gills look healthy and no apparent signs of sickness. He just swims past the pellets and bloodworm like he can’t smell it. I don’t think it’s a blockage either. Any ideas and suggestions for treatment would be much appreciated. Thank you!

Dear All, I would appreciate some help identifying P. waltl disease and treatment. We received newts from Europe early November and a few maybe 3/70 had what it looked like lesions under the legs- at that time we thought maybe it was the stress of travel- now we think they probably had "red leg syndrome" (see picture). However a few weeks later other newts started to develop skin lesions (picture enclosed). The sender recommended to use sulfamerazine and we have treated them 2x and we are not sure they are all recovering. Does anyone have any experience with P. waltl diseases and could give some input on this? Any input would be greatly appreciated! Thank you.
