I find it interesting that (correct me if I'm right) the biggest newt in the world, the Spanish Ribbed Newt, has such small eggs compared to the much smaller newt, the Danube Crested Newt. I took these pictures to not only show the difference in actual egg size, but the difference in the jelly surrounding between the two species. Just found it cool and wanted to show.
