Difference between aquatic and terrestrial

She looks very gravid to me. Sorry to hear about your male. If I could send you one of mine, I would - I've got three amorous boys with no girls to court at the moment.

I really hope to find some eggs this year!

The male probably got the fungus, because he's got a very small wound at the end of his tail. I really hate fungus!

Don't despair! I had a female Noto who developed a small dot of fungus on a tail wound and she ended up laying about 60 eggs anyway. Hoping your stud made it happen, fingers crossed!

Forgot to update this thread. The fungus came back and covered a greater area at the end of it's tail. In the end I lost him. Shortly after another male got into amplexus, so I had a good feeling about breeding noto's for a second time.

Allas this male allso got fungus at the end of it's tailThat's why I decided to amputate the part which had fungus on it. Kept him in eSHa2000 for a week, until the the tail started to grow back. At this moment he's back in the tank and doing well. Lost his interest in the females though. :(

This is the second time that amputation worked out well for me. Had a T.cf.kweichowensis with a bad case of infection. http://www.caudata.org/forum/f1173-...riton/83138-t-cf-kweichowensis-infection.html
