Question: Cooling

i bought an aqua-one chiller, it came with no instructions, and no pipes, and it was quite expensive. We had to go to the hardware store n buy pipes/a bigger pump. However, it keeps the temperature dead perfect as isnt that noisy at all. My tank gets up to 30 degrees c without it, so it was a must.
 
Any opinions on what one should do if they do not have swift access to a fan?
For the past week I have been putting ice in the tank, removing water before putting some in so the levels stay the same- but the tank temperature is still climbing.

My axolotls are (as of now) at a painstakingly high 70 degrees F!! Everything I have tried will not bring the temperature down- and I'm not going the icebottle route just yet. Please help. :(
 
Well first I would order some fans. I have Two singal JEBO Fans and they work great! They shipped fast but cost a little for shipping.

With the fans alone my Temp is at a "OKAY" degree but I wanted more. I would leave my window up 24/7 and block my door open. The air flows in and out of the room and keeps it cool.

I dont have the money to get a chiller so I do this for now. Im about to buy a 20G tank soon and will need to buy more fans....So i hope they work good too!
