Yes, you were just lucky, Alan! That axolotl could have died if it had swallowed the fish any farther down its throat. Cories are not a good idea with any amphibian.
i thought all snails wre heamaphrodites but needed another snail to fertilise them, so in effect they both get pregnant. Or is this just garden snails?
some species are hemaphroditic, others are not. apple and mystery have seperate male and females and so you need an actual pair for them to breed. ramshorns only need one other ramshorn to reproduce. pretty good advantage when in the wild since they only need to find one other of their species to both reproduce. malaysian trumpet snails are born live and some are already born fertilized and carrying babies inside of them so you may only need one to create a population. i think it is called partenogenic reproduction.
err.. one problem, my axies eaten an entire snail, including the shell, i mean do i have to wait and see how its doing or is ther something i can do? help needed quick,
