Chinese Butterfly loaches with Axy's

your axy was asleep!!?? (they dont sleep) they have no eyelids

nothing bad because I got the snail off in time but for some reason he got fungus a few days latter???

The closest common name I can come up with is "guppies". I'm in Australia so I don't know if they would be known as anything else elsewhere.
I do not feed him these often, actually very rarely.

I hope axy's sleep!!!!!
Otherwise mine plays dead alot of the time i.e when his gills are very pale.

I dont know what you mean by gills pail but axys do sleep without eyelids

so how do u know if they're asleep? in the morning my axy's gills are pale which could be from just waking up or something.

I dont know eactly but they are usauly asleep if you drop a piece of food in the tank and the food lands on their head and they dont move

Dear All, I would appreciate some help identifying P. waltl disease and treatment. We received newts from Europe early November and a few maybe 3/70 had what it looked like lesions under the legs- at that time we thought maybe it was the stress of travel- now we think they probably had "red leg syndrome" (see picture). However a few weeks later other newts started to develop skin lesions (picture enclosed). The sender recommended to use sulfamerazine and we have treated them 2x and we are not sure they are all recovering. Does anyone have any experience with P. waltl diseases and could give some input on this? Any input would be greatly appreciated! Thank you.
