Cage size for my marmoratus group?

Hi guys.
Im about to build a new cage soon for a group of 2.3.4 marms, the adults messure between 10-11,5cm and the others 7-9cm i guess. This shall be the final vivarium with a large pound and good envirinment with all that they need. So would a cage with dimension 100x60x60cm lxwxh be enough of space to all nine at adult length? im planing on bigger, but want to her with you before.

According to this Caudata Culture article a tank with the dimensions of 120x40x30 would be suffcient for 3 adult pairs, so you should be able to make your decision based on that.

So you dont think it would be too big? a mean find them and have control over feeding and so. I have no problem to build larger, but i dont want to get problem to look after the newts.

If you are concerned about control over feeding and such, you might want to consider two separate tanks. I can imagine that the younger animals may need differently-sized food. Having two tanks would also give you the flexibility to have two separate breeding groups later.

Hi.
That can be a probleme for the moment because i would have to build cillers for both vivarium, and that will be a extra cost. I dont think that i want two breeding groups, so i decided to go for a big tank insteed.
The food-size is no probleme, i allways give them smaller prey.
