C. orientalis breeding

Very nice! My C.O. have preferred elodea over all other plants. Interesting though, in my life transition, I had left an 18 g tank with a friend of mine containin 11 c.o. (juves and adults) this past year with only a small portion of live pothos, other being plastic plants -- as I have "reaquired" these animals, the group has enlarged to 12, plus a healthy larvae, hmmmm.

I handfeed my morphs frozen bloodworms. It is kind of crazy, cause I have to spend 2 to 3 hours every other day to feed them. The plan... hum.. not yet. probably will keep some of them. And try to introduce some to my frds and then maybe give them to petstore.

Three mothers gave birth to them

Sorry to say, my hands were full so I just let my adults eat their eggs. Or at least that's what I think happened.

Egg-laying still continuing. I noticed a few larvae in the adults' tank as well.

-- the following egg-laying pics are all of the same newt, which is the one on top in the last photo in this series--

Great stuff Tim...keep us updated! I'll be interested in seeing how you do with these compared to the other species.

Very beautiful picture.
My CO started to lay eggs again. And me too is full on my hands so I just let them be in the adult tank unattened as well.

Thanks guys. Congrats on the eggs, Ian, and on the metamorph, Javier
