Well I have him holding it for me, I think one Necturus is good for now. I think that I would only get another Necturus spp. if I moved to a bigger house or if something happened to Bart (Oh God I hope not).

Dawn thank you for that remark about my enthusiasm, I do have a crazy one for sals of all types.

I don't understand...he's holding it and you're definitely getting it or he's holding it but you think one is enough and you won't get it?

I have seen lots of shroms animals in photos on caudata and some on kingsnake, magnificent!

Yeah, I feel really lucky that I can get his animals within driving distance, though he does ship...but I don't know about Canada.

He is holding it and I think that one is enough, I will probably shoot him an e-mail tomorrow that I will not be getting it. I wan't to sleep on it though.

nope, not to me in canada.

Dear All, I would appreciate some help identifying P. waltl disease and treatment. We received newts from Europe early November and a few maybe 3/70 had what it looked like lesions under the legs- at that time we thought maybe it was the stress of travel- now we think they probably had "red leg syndrome" (see picture). However a few weeks later other newts started to develop skin lesions (picture enclosed). The sender recommended to use sulfamerazine and we have treated them 2x and we are not sure they are all recovering. Does anyone have any experience with P. waltl diseases and could give some input on this? Any input would be greatly appreciated! Thank you.
