Being told I dont need to cycle a tank for an axolotl

Thanks for letting me know. I have my test kit coming in the mail already so it should be here soon.
 
If you have a huge tank and a small axolotl you can get away without cycling. The little axolotl won't overload the tank.
Many people will compromise the axolotl by keeping it in a small container while cycling the tank. Sometimes the axolotl is subject to poorer water conditions in the small container than in the big tank.
