Axolotl suitable temp?

Lived here all my life it doesn't bother me. I've got a beach down the road, ocean breeze at night and fans to help in the day :)

That actually sounds pretty nice. I live near the beach too. Well, not down the road but about 10 minutes away haha.

Quick side question, the bigger guy was sitting right where the HOB filter's waterfall falls to for a while earlier, his gills were flowing around and he was swaying a bit, he just sat there for at least 10 minutes in it, is that normal? I know they aren't supposed to like much current but he seemed into it.

Nah, that's pretty normal. My guys like to sit under the filter stream sometimes too. I think a soft current must feel nice on their gills, and plus they don't have to flick their gills to get more oxygen. No worries!

I would suggest not letting her little guy have fishies just yet. The skeleton can be difficult to digest, and a younger axie might be more susceptible to any diseases the fish might carry. If he doesn't like blood worms, you could try newt pellets or something similar. They'll grow your little guy very well :3

Okay, I was worried about him because he wasn't eating anything for a few days and I heard that sometimes young axolotls need movement to stimulate them to eat, so I put the tiny little fish in there with him and I honestly didn't think he'd be able to catch it I was just hoping it would snap him out of the funk he was in lol. It worked, he ate the little fish and has been eating a few pellets a day. The little fish had been alive for just over a month in my other tank so I figured it was okay. I won't do that again, didn't think about the digestion issues it could cause.
