Ammonia is a bit high, and nitrate could go down a bit, but this looks better

Nitrate is the hardest to read on the test kit I find.. So its easy to misinterpret the test


I would do a 30-40% water change tonight, and test again in a couple hours. See if the ammonia went down a bit.

Got it! Just did the water change and will check the levels in a few hours. Hopefully that helped

Just tested the water again after doing the 30-40% water change last night.
The ammonia levels are better, but now the Nitrate levels are off the charts!
I am leaving for the airport in an hour ...what can I do?

My female went through a phase where she did this too. It happened while my filter was broken though and soon as it was fixed she got better but my axis slurp sometimes too.
