Are these both the same species of Paddletail newt? [PICTURES]

I'm in the process of starting a fresh tank for him and was thinking a female would be a great addition in the slight possibility I could get them to breed... If I succeed I wouldn't charge much for them, probably just postage. It would be more for the ability to say I did it.
 
Breeding is not easy. I have been trying for years no luck yet though.
