Any fellow herpers here from ontario?

Newts are hard to find. They come and gone in the petstore, either they died and sold out, I have no idea.

I have a place to suggest. It is called Aquapet. It is a chinese aquarium located near Old Kenedy Rd and Steel Ave.

And I have some chinese FB juvenile as well. But I dont give them out easily.

hey im here, and i got 3 C.O's you can view pics in the photo gallery section of the forum, im from hamilton-ish area myself (i move a fair bit) just thought id say hi, also about the eastern newt legal issue, if you catch one and your wife or mom or someone else happens to catch one are u not legaly entitled to posses one each and if you chose to house them in the same tank is that allowed or ? and for those who didn't get my point it was this (if you find 2 eastern newts in a small pond and feel they may not have a safe envirnment much longer due to the increase in housing in the area or other types or community growth i don't see how it would be wrong for you to take them in and take care of them,, and if a government official feels like being a jerk about it all you would have to say is that one belongs to the other person living in the house(or if you just feel they would do better at your place then the swamp))
well there is my thought on a possible way around that issue

Dear All, I would appreciate some help identifying P. waltl disease and treatment. We received newts from Europe early November and a few maybe 3/70 had what it looked like lesions under the legs- at that time we thought maybe it was the stress of travel- now we think they probably had "red leg syndrome" (see picture). However a few weeks later other newts started to develop skin lesions (picture enclosed). The sender recommended to use sulfamerazine and we have treated them 2x and we are not sure they are all recovering. Does anyone have any experience with P. waltl diseases and could give some input on this? Any input would be greatly appreciated! Thank you.
