Specially the cristatus are majestic animals, and... reminds me a little to T. dobrogicus?
 
Nice! Were these in Slovakia, or found somewhere else? Any idea of subspecies?
 
Rubén: it has already been written here: "great vested newt".
Jenn: yes they were found in Slovakia and belong to nominate alpestris. It`s the most common species here with regard to the simple requirements on biotope conditions. Hmm... I mean they can find enough places for breeding.
