Age

I gave her a salt bath to get rid of whatever was in the gills but there are little brown things attached to her. Some move. Some don't. Are Argulus brown? Thing is the white ones look too much like Ergasilus :S Weidly close.
 
btw these 'parasites' are really REALLY small. I just looked at Argulus and its not that. It looks too big.
 
As Ergasilus are a copepod, the white ones will look oddly like Ergasilus as it is a copepod. This is why you need to biopsy the gills and confirm the presence of the female Ergasilus before you can make this a diagnosis and assume you have a parasite.
If you look at the various pictures at this link http://images.google.com/images?q=copepod%20&btnG=Search&hl=en&lr=&sa=N&tab=wi you can see that there are a lot of white copepods that look a lot alike. (Note there are a lot of pictures with egg sacs on the site so this may confuse you).
