400 small axis

The strongest will survive Beata. I couldn't cull any of my first batch. In the end I ended up with only 5.

I think I had around 150 babies in the first batch. One by one, they died, either they weren't getting enough food or they were too deformed to survive.
Hope your's are all healthy. Can't wait to see more pic updates!

why did your axies die jolly? ours lived to adult hood, all fifty of the eggs we got from someone... but they did take a lot of care and tonnes of daphnia, they love daphnia, the little fatties *affectionate smile* they were actually very slim and svelte hehe good luck on bringing them up!!!

They were my first attempt at rearing baby axies (on my own.. which sucks even worse). I followed lots of information but just couldn't get enough food for them all, I used BBS but not all of them would eat, then the BBS would just all die, plus quite a lot had deformities and died within a few days. It was sad. Quite a lot of the eggs were roughly removed from the tank.

im going to breed mine one day. 1st i have to by a female. I have one golden albino male named shifter. I am gettin a black female. I can't wait. Wat does it feel like having all those children beata

Hi,
today I have 210 alive babies. They are 2 weeks old. They eat daphnia and they do love it. They still shout for a new breast

You can see it on my photos. I breed the daphnia in a pot outside, and whai is important, the daphnia is alive too. All the babies are white with dark eyes.Twice a day I remove the rests from the button of tank, using plastic tube, sometimes I pull the axies in, and then I have to put them back with a spoon. What a fun I have breeding them!
