365 Project Week Danube Countdown

Great video. Thank you for posting.

This is fantastic! Great video, the newts are really cool.

Very neat! What was the clear, thin material she was laying and folding her eggs in?

Looks like egg laying strips, usually made out of plastic garbage bags. Caudata Culture Articles - Egg Strips They are usually used because they are easier to remove the eggs from than plants, or are easier to ship than plants, plus they are a lot less valuable so you don't lose as much money.

Just like I said, plastic sandwich bags :D

So I would like to get my Youtube channel up and running for real. Any suggestions for videos I could make? I could do IRL how to, or tank setups, or aquarium maintenance. Anything and everything you want to see.

A good video on cycling tanks and the importance of good water quality would be worthwhile. Not very exiting I know, but its the first thing anyone should know when keeping an aquarium of any kind.

Awesome Evan!
I would recommend care videos, herping videos, general maintenance, health and water quality videos etc., and everybody loves a feeding video :)

Well thanks guys! I probably wont post most of the videos here, so subscribe to my channel if you want to be updated!

Hey everyone, just want a little advice. Its 55 - 60 celcius in my Salamanders tank. Hes curled up and tyring ti bury himself, Im assuming hes too cold. I was wondering if he would benefit from a heated rock cave (since he LOVES his cave) that I could set on low? I NEVER see him curled up and trying to bury himself unless his tank sits at 63 degrees celcius or lower. So I am assuming hes a little uncomfortable.

He also seems a little sluggish, again, assuming hes cold. Having heating trouble with the new house right now. What do we think? Was thinking of grabbing this for him since its got very low, medium, and higher medium heat settings that exude heat downward inside the rock cave but ALSO exudes it UPWARDS outside of the rock cave, effectively keeping the tank itself a little warm. Seems like it miiiight be a little small for him though, my guy is about 7 inches from tip of his nose tothe tip of his tail.
