And we start with a juvenile Ensatina xanthoptica that was rather dry and hot during a hot spell of the El Nino in February.

Batrachoseps attenuatus, with nice light colored eyes in some grassland

Same one:

Very fat, very wrinkly Taricha torosa (I think) in the redwoods; March

Juvenile Taricha granulosa found with the one above; March

California Giant Salamander, Dicamptodon ensatus; March

Same one:

Aneides lugubris, Aboreal Salamander; April

Ensatina eschscholztii xanthoptica, a large individual; April

Quite possibly the fattest Aneides lugubris I've ever seen; May

Taricha granulosa, August

Red-coloration Batrachoseps attenuatus; November

Ensatina eschscholztii xanthoptica in grassland/oak woodland

Taricha torosa; December

Dicamptodon ensatus, December

Ensatina eschscholztii picta x oregonensis

Lifers: Plethodon elongatus; December
