Embry - those gills crack me up for some reason, they're like so straight!

I'm pretty sure Carlos doesn't realize (s)he doesn't fit comfortably in her sleeping pot anymore. This is her/his "good morning" face poking out of her slumber-hole.

I think I'm gonna miss those cute faces :)
I sold 3 of my axies today. The others are for sale. And the juvies are still too tiny to sell but one day they'll be gone as well.

Here's my beautiful wee baby Weasley.
And Weasley posing with dear wee Charlie who's leg was munched when he was young and grew back backwards so it looks like he's always waving . So adorable! Charlie just found a new home so I'm missing him hugely! I know hes got a loving home though which helps

I couldn't not upload this, I walked into my room to find this. I think Carlos is showing Pablo who is king (or queen!) of this tank  I've come to the conclusion that Carlos is one majorly creepy axolotl hahah

That looks awesome. Is that upper deck, a homemade project or a finished item? Glass or plastic?

It's a home made project (not really!). It's actually another fish tank on its side. I posted a thread of this in the tank section. It's a small fish tank my babies out grew, it fits pretty snug in my tank so the bottom of the small fish tank is flush against the wall of my big tank. That way you can have a nice shelf as well as not losing any space underneath. Although I need to take it out and perhaps silicon the sand on top because lotls like to make it rain sand. My little gold in the corner has yet to explore it ( I still think he's exploring the bottom floor )

Thanks Morrison!

These two are the most aggressive eaters yet love to hang out waiting for food together.

Hey everyone, just want a little advice. Its 55 - 60 celcius in my Salamanders tank. Hes curled up and tyring ti bury himself, Im assuming hes too cold. I was wondering if he would benefit from a heated rock cave (since he LOVES his cave) that I could set on low? I NEVER see him curled up and trying to bury himself unless his tank sits at 63 degrees celcius or lower. So I am assuming hes a little uncomfortable.

He also seems a little sluggish, again, assuming hes cold. Having heating trouble with the new house right now. What do we think? Was thinking of grabbing this for him since its got very low, medium, and higher medium heat settings that exude heat downward inside the rock cave but ALSO exudes it UPWARDS outside of the rock cave, effectively keeping the tank itself a little warm. Seems like it miiiight be a little small for him though, my guy is about 7 inches from tip of his nose tothe tip of his tail.
