Hello! I thought my second post should be pictures on my Axolotl. He doesn't have a name yet. The rock he is next to is about the size of my hand. He is only 4.5 inches. I love his eyes. They look are kinda silvery.

What color is he considered?
Does he look good? He came from Petco, they said he was eating earthworms regularly. But it's Petco....
Is he still considered a Juvenile?
How often should I feed him?

He looks like a Tiger Salamander larvae to be honest. Other than that, he's pretty cute.

Yup, not an axolotl.
It´s a tiger salamander larva, but it does look good. It could perhaps use a little bit more of meat on its bones, but you can fatten it up in time.

Definitely a tiger salamander. You can read a caresheet here, and a good article on raising tigers here.

Alright. How much should I feed him?

Thank you!

Oh well if he is a Tiger Salamander. That was second on my list of Salamanders I wanted. I can't wait for him to change. I still love him to bits.
