Pseudotriton ruber attack

Here is what I found in the big P.ruber tank last night. The one doing the biting is quite a bit smaller than the one being bitten. This went on for about 5 minutes not including the time before I caught them.

I keep telling him that the Spanish music and the aroma of Taco Bell is the key to his success.

When this little tussle ended did they just seperate and go on about their business like nothing happened or was there some chasing and/or other little skirmishes?

Nice video Jake, that newt strikes me as the dumbest one in the group though. I swear i could see a gesture of desperation in the "attacked" newt...

The attack-ee seems to have a look of "are you done yet?" Maybe the little one's just trying to impress the ladies with his toughness. Napoleon complex, anyone?

I'm not sure if they did or not, I began doing other things when they were still fighting.
