can someone please tell me what to do , my axolotl jumped off the tank and has been scrolled inside my room on the rough carpet. I found him in morning on floor. his belly is injured because the carpet was rough. it's been almost 3 weeks but the skin that was almost recovered had been peeled off again. what should I do ?

I just came across your post, did you get him back into a tank with water ? How's he doing ?

An axolotl can turn into a semi aquatic salamander, if they are stressed but usually their gills will fall off first? Does your enclosure not have a lid ? I hope he's doing alright and healing!

his wound is slightly healing. I give him the methylene blue bath . it helps not to get infected, right? my baby axolotl is very stubborn and mischievous. everytime do something stipid and hurt himself and then I'm the one suffering to heal him and have fear of losing him. is it a sign that he's stressed? what should i do?

If you know what the exact water parameters are, that might help as well. Axolotls are water creatures. Why would they leave the water???
