Young Barred Tiger

I just bought a small barred tiger.
Hes a tad skinny but ate right out of my fingers ten minutes after he was in his new home!
He is almost marbled color right now.
How old until he starts showing yellow bars?

Well this I had a few Eastern Tigers that started out completly black. They began to get dull spots after a few months but they were not vivid until he was about a year old. I think the amount of time it takes will depend on the individual so you can't really estimate how quickly a barred tiger will get color. Another factor is how quickly they are growing.
