Worried about moving seeds?????

Well I have 2 paddletails and now for the second time ive noticed these little mite looking things in my tank...im sure there are 100's. they kinda look like little grey seeds and they move really slowly. dont see any feet and they kinda swarm in the corners of the tank. ive had newts for over 6 years and this is the first ive ever seen. if someone could please give me an idea of what they are and if theyre harmless?

Do you see any of them directly on the newts? If not, then I wouldn't worry much. You just need to more siphoning of debris and maybe more partial water changes and they should decrease or disappear.
