The other night i found an infestation of woodlouse in my window cell, would they hurt my salamander if put them in his tank?.

I think they are suggested as an alternative food item for salamanders. As long there are no pesticides or any other chemicals used on them or near them.

They seem to be eating the pothos, I have some grass sprouts in the tank, which are intended for bugs to eat,
but they wont, what should I do?.

I don't think you can train woodlice and I don't think you can politely say that pothos isn't on the menu!

You either got to put up with them eating whatever they like or remove them.

They are eating a bunch of it, do you think if I decrease how many i have in there then the pothos will survive?.

Seems funny that woodlice would eat live plants with thick leave like pothos. They eat decaying leaves and wood. But maybe they are just eating what they have to And they are a great food for Salamanders. I raise them in plastic shoe boxes for food for my critters

Dear All, I would appreciate some help identifying P. waltl disease and treatment. We received newts from Europe early November and a few maybe 3/70 had what it looked like lesions under the legs- at that time we thought maybe it was the stress of travel- now we think they probably had "red leg syndrome" (see picture). However a few weeks later other newts started to develop skin lesions (picture enclosed). The sender recommended to use sulfamerazine and we have treated them 2x and we are not sure they are all recovering. Does anyone have any experience with P. waltl diseases and could give some input on this? Any input would be greatly appreciated! Thank you.
