I currently don't have any Axolols though I'm searching for a good place to buy them in Nova Scotia Canada (if anyone knows a good place?). But thats not my question.
Currently I have a 10 gallon tank and I was wondering how many (full grown) Axolotls I could house in it? I'd really like to have two of them, is 10 gallons enough? Should I upgrade to a large tank before I get them?
Also, if I get them as juvies or babies, would 10 gallons be enough for a while? I'd upgrade it once they got bigger. Also, what size tank would be optimal for two full size Axololts? I just don't want them to be squished.
On another note, what sort of food should I give them? I've heard bloodworms are good, and that once they get bigger you can give them earthworms as a treat. Should I vary their food?
I read somewhere that you should have a few different kind of food and vary them between feedings. I heard you feed them every two to three days, is this correct?
Thank you for taking the time to read through my questions!
