Winter clothing

We all know that there are t-shirts with newts and salamanders, even of this excellent internet portal nice t-shirts are available, but what to wear in winter to show that your head is filled with "amphibian" even though they are not there?

Last summer Jan and Monique Beukema (their son Wouter frequently posts on this forum) got me this wonderful present which was made for this special occasion by Jan's sister.
Salamandra's are my favourite subject and this dark yellow has been a favourite colour since long time...I wonder how come?
It is a unique piece of work, and perhaps inspires you all to start knitting or better get your aunts or grandmothers to do so for you

Haha great Serge... So I get a chance to see you in the sweater after all! Maybe my aunt should begin her own clothing line...
 
Wonderful winter wear! Almost makes me want to take up knitting.

    Dear All, I would appreciate some help identifying P. waltl disease and treatment. We received newts from Europe early November and a few maybe 3/70 had what it looked like lesions under the legs- at that time we thought maybe it was the stress of travel- now we think they probably had "red leg syndrome" (see picture). However a few weeks later other newts started to develop skin lesions (picture enclosed). The sender recommended to use sulfamerazine and we have treated them 2x and we are not sure they are all recovering. Does anyone have any experience with P. waltl diseases and could give some input on this? Any input would be greatly appreciated! Thank you.
