Will this filter be ok?

I have an internal in my tank at the moment, in a 4 ft x 1 ft (slighltly less) x 1 ft tank, with 7 young ones. I want to reduce the stress on them so got a powerful air pump 4l/min now just wondering what sponge filter will be appropriate for the size of tank... how many of these would I need?

2 of those one setup at each side would be groovy,

Go for either an tetratec aps 150 or 200, im going by that your tank is around 150 - 200L capacity, so go for the filter with the correct size, Just use a regulator/clamp to reduce the airflow and even out both of your filters and boom! your done

I suggest you go for the second option as it fixes to the side of the tank and therefore would be less likely for you axie to get stuck or want to investigate it!

probably two of them would be fine...
