Illness/Sickness: Will my Alex survive? Very bad fungal infection

I have already fridged and salt bathed my Alex for 2 weeks now. (I took him out after The fungus seemed to have got worse - advised by other members to take out of the fridge).

I think he has a fungal infection > He is now back in the tank (after a good clean).

I have attached picture of my very poorly Alex...

Any advise or help would be greatly appreciated!!!
