We have 2 female and 1 male axie, my kids are very worried that one of the girls has not laid eggs but the other has. one is albino one is black so the eggs will be different colours by the way I have read the posts. Thanks for any info.

It might be that only one is pregnant, also egg colour wise this also depends in the male and i think, their parents-someone correct me if im wrong!
If both are pregnant then they may just have become so at different times,so won't lay eggs at the same time.

Great thank you both for the responses I will pass them on to the kids. I know they will be keen to hear that they both can lay eggs in the same tank, but perhaps not together.:D

if it helps, I have 2 axies, a female albino and a melanoid black male.

the eggs she laid where white and most of the larve so far are also albino with a few that have black eyes and speckles.

Thanks Chris, interesting to know.
