He's beautiful
I love wildtypes
However, there are some pebbles in your tank with that could be small enough to be swallowed by your axie... I think it would be best to remove them and go for bare bottom or sand!
thanks haha yeah im gonna try and find a shop thats sells sand as i prefer sand anyway so gonna start looking when the money comes back in thanks for the advice though
Absolutely gorgeous  You should be very proud heehee!!
But like Tess mentioned, i'd remove any small pebbles as he could swallow them and cause some harm to himself. But happy hunting for some sand  Just make sure to give it a good rinse before adding it to the tank, as it'll make your water cloudy. But other than that a stunning axolotl x
haha thank you so much I really wanna get a picture of her at night as her gills goes like a pinky red colour it looks amazing hopefully i can get that up for you guys some day. okey dokey thanks for the advice
You can get sand on eBay, if you have trouble finding it locally
To agree with the others though, you'd be better off removing the gravel / stones now + having a bare bottomed tank whilst you hunt for sand. That way you're avoiding any possibility of disaster during your search. Better safe than sorry, e.t.c.
Tesco are doing an offer on play-sand at the moment - 2 10kg bags for £4. I have 2 bags sat in the hallway for when I can be bothered to pick up my new tank.
mine look similar to that at the moment, even though they are only babies. there mum was a golden, and their dad was lecuistic, i think, so i really hope mine turn out like yours
