Wild or grey melanoid?

Hello sorry I'm sure these questions come about all the time....I bought this axolotl from someone online...had a couple issues but this is suppose to be a grey melanoid but looks wild to me but I'm new to these so figured I would ask here.....thanks in advance

Looks like the lil' guy has light, reflective rings around the eyes - if that is true, it's a wild. What a cutie!
