Question: Why isn't there an axolotl group for Oregon?

We have owned axolotl's for two or three years now. We usually get them from our small privately owned fish store but when our last one passed away we decided to seek out some more unique ones than we last had because our last ones we couldn't tell apart. we ordered two offline through someone on this site and ended up with an amazing solid black but the golden one we ordered with our black one isn't a golden at all it's a pinkish color. we couldn't do anything about it because we had them shipped from another state which made me ask myself why Caudata.org doesn't have an axolotl group for Oregon? They are super popular here to the point our local pet store has trouble keeping them in stock but it has made it super hard for us to be able to find what we are looking for to add more colorful axolotl's to our home. If there is already one would someone please let me know, if not how does one go about starting one

I'd join too. I am raising babies now ... first attempt though so no promises. Lots have already passed with a fungus. But I'd love to connect with others
