Why did you choose your username?

I've seen some interesting ones around. Why/how did you choose yours and did it mean anything special to you or was it just one that wasn't taken?

anything rachel related i could think of was taken, so i decided to choose a colour and an object, nothing particularly special :D
 
I couldn't think of any other name to put in, my creativity was shot. I ended up just picking Psychopathic when I gave up. :lol:
 
I choose michael because it is my name. It seemed to be the obvious choice to me.
 
I forgot how I ever ended up creating my username. I have it on many other forums, but usually with a 'xxx' in the 'toxic' part, but I got denied joining, which I assumed was because of the 'xxx' - lol. My nickname is 'Kitten', so that's where that part of my username came from.
 
Mine is the nickname that my father calls me. One of my middle names is Isabella, I suspect Baloo from the jungle book also plays a part :dizzy:
 
Well, Banana is the name of my golden Albino axolotl. At my point of joining, he was my only axie.
Sarah&Banana, and also Banana&Sarah was taken already - so Banana it was.

One day in chat, there was a member that was ghosting - by the name of The Duck.
I mentioned to Justin what a cool name it was - and he said not any duck, The Duck... and then somehow I got the idea of me, also being a THE.

So I asked very nicely for my username to be changed, and have never looked back.

I am now The Banana - not just any Banana... but THE BANANA.

My username was originally "Havelock", as he is my favorite character in Terry Pratchett's Discworld books. A lot of members were mistaking me for a man though :eek:, so I had it changed to Jacquie (my real name).
 
people just assume that if you use the internet you are a boy. I didn't even know you could change your uername!
 
I Choose mine because i work for customer services and like to think i offer a good service hence the Acephone and being female the chic bit.
 
Well... they're my initials.

But secretly I find it hilarious that it almost looks like espn or esp.
 
Because its my nickname. Most people call me lolly, kids tend to call me lollypop. (with corisponding question, of what flavour are you today) my kids call me mum :eek:

Even hubby calls me lolly I don't tend to hear anything else.

All my forum names are either lolly, lolly blu, or lollypop. Depending on what's taken.

By the way, there´s a new Discworld movie brewing Jacqs! *does a little happy dance*

My nickname comes from a fallen angel in a comic book i used to read as a kid. I´ve always been fascinated by mythology, plus i think hebrew names sound great.

I've always had an affinity to the heavenly bodies. "Star Gazer" was taken on another website, so I created my name as "Gazer of Stars."

@yellowpebble: you can't change your username yourself, you have to go through an administrator (not even a moderator can do it!)

Mine is the name I use on every site, everywhere, it's my Pagan name (aka "Otter" for short) though now that I've become a hermit, no one ever calls me it anymore. One day someone will knock on my door and call me that and I'll say, "Otter...Now there's a name I've not heard in a long, long time. A long time."
 
because it's German for "newt". And because "Molchi" was my nickname when I was a little kid, because I was always knee-deep in some pond catching newts.
