Hi all,

I have noticed what looks like delicate little white flowers on all my plants and on the glass. Would this be some sort of algae? The ph test kit keeps saying normal range, the temp sits between 18 and 21(we have converted a bar fridge as a chiller as it gets so hot here).
Do I need to take all the water out and scrub the tank?
I have two adult axies and a baby in there, two seem normal and are feeding fine, one has not eaten for about 2 weeks(unless he/she is eating pellets when we are not looking ).
I would like to clean the tank today, just need advice on how to go about it. Thanks

Its best to provide photos. In most cases, it is harmless and can be left alone. It is more of an aesthetic issue. If it really bothers you, you can manually remove them but there is no necessity to thoroughly scrub everything. You want to leave the beneficial bacteria behind.
