White scum at the bottom of my freshly fishless cycled tank?

I'm not sure what this is or if it's harmful? I've just finished cycling my tank, took 2 months but its done. I did a 50% water change today in readiness to add my Axie but as I moved my decorations all this white semi translucent film like stuff spread around the tank off the bottom and turned the water cloudy. I used my aquarium hoover to get some of it up but there's tons of it.

An hour later it settled back to the bottom of the tank and the water is clear again but i'm a bit wary of adding my Axie and having him crawl around in what ever that stuff was. It's a bare bottom tank so he'll just be in sat in it.

Any ideas what it is? I tried googling it but none of the images I see really match what I see.
 
My guess would be mineral deposits. What kind of water conditioner do you use? Do you know how hard the water in your area is? Also, please add photos 😁
