WHITE SAND

i have looked high and low for white sand, every time i find some im told it isnt suitable for tanks
im in england.......any ideas

Heya Isobel,
in my opinion the best white sand you could get is cool filter sand.
Its actually made of silicon, so its EASY AS to clean and its the whitest sand ive seen..

have you tried the pool shops around?

I have pool filter sand, and it's a very coarse, natural colored sand. I think you mean play-sand.

I have play sand and love it! Definitely not stark white though, if that's what you want. It's a nice tan shade, very soft, and you get to see all the little axie footprints in it

i got my sand from wharf aquatics at pinxton not 2 far from u i was told it was ok and it is i think its not white but nearly white
